Do you need to join a professional body?

Firstly, as there are no legal regulations for holistic therapists, some voluntary professional bodies have been established in the UK. They are formed with the aim of self-regulation. These bodies actually give clients a sense of security when they are looking for treatments.

Also, these professional bodies encourage professionals to get to higher standards of training.

However, there are no legal requirements to register with a professional body. But I should tell you that registering is highly recommended.
